Welcome to CanadaDrive Rentals. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and car rental services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.
In these Terms, "CanadaDrive Rentals," "we," "us," and "our" refer to CanadaDrive Rentals and its affiliates, and "you" and "your" refer to any individual or entity using our Services.
To use our Services, you must:
Additional requirements may apply depending on the type of vehicle being rented and the location of rental. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet our eligibility requirements.
You may make reservations through our website, mobile application, by telephone, or through authorized third-party platforms. When making a reservation, you must provide accurate and complete information as requested.
Upon successful completion of your reservation, you will receive a confirmation that includes details of your booking, the rental rate, and any additional charges. It is your responsibility to review this information for accuracy.
The rates displayed during the reservation process include the base rental fee for the selected vehicle and duration. Additional charges may apply, including:
A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. Depending on the rental, a pre-authorization hold may be placed on your credit card. The final payment for your rental will be processed upon vehicle return.
You may modify or cancel your reservation subject to the following conditions:
Special events, peak seasons, and specialty vehicles may have different cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
At the time of pickup, you must present:
Before accepting the vehicle, you should inspect it thoroughly and report any pre-existing damage to our staff. Any unreported damage discovered upon return may be your responsibility.
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed-upon date and time to avoid late fees. A grace period of 59 minutes is provided, after which additional charges may apply. If you anticipate returning the vehicle late, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you return the vehicle earlier than the scheduled return date, you may not be eligible for a refund for the unused rental period unless prior arrangements have been made.
The vehicle should be returned in the same condition as when it was picked up, aside from normal wear and tear. Additional cleaning fees may apply if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty.
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank. If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, a refueling fee plus the cost of the missing fuel will be charged.
Only individuals listed on the rental agreement as authorized drivers may operate the rental vehicle. Adding additional drivers requires prior approval and may incur additional fees.
The vehicle may not be used for:
Unless specifically authorized in writing, vehicles may not be taken:
Cross-border travel requires prior authorization and may incur additional fees.
All vehicles are non-smoking. A cleaning fee of up to $250 may be charged if evidence of smoking is detected in the vehicle.
Pets are allowed in designated pet-friendly vehicles only, subject to a cleaning fee. Service animals are exempt from this restriction but must be properly identified.
We offer optional Collision Damage Waiver that reduces your financial responsibility for damage to the rental vehicle. CDW is not insurance and does not cover all situations. Exclusions and deductibles apply.
Our vehicles include basic third-party liability coverage as required by provincial law. Additional liability coverage options are available at the time of rental.
Your personal auto insurance policy may provide coverage for rental vehicles. We recommend checking with your insurance provider before declining our coverage options.
Some credit cards offer rental car coverage when the entire rental is charged to the card. Terms and conditions vary by card issuer. It is your responsibility to understand the coverage provided by your credit card.
You are responsible for:
These liabilities may be reduced by purchasing our optional coverage products.
If you are involved in an accident, you must:

Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page frequently so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any rental agreement you execute with us constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and CanadaDrive Rentals regarding the Services and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding such subject matter.
